#1: Play Hard to Get<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Ok, this might sound like familiar territory, but listen up.<\/p>\n

Typically, a lot of women (and men!) try to make someone like them by putting on a detached-but-I-might-be-attracted-to-you kind of act.<\/p>\n

Also, these women may wait for an arbitrary amount of time to reply to messages (e.g., a couple of hours, a few days, etc.) to avoid looking desperate. Worse, they\u2019ll pretend they\u2019re busy, hoping it\u2019ll make a guy more interested in them.<\/p>\n

But this approach tends to backfire<\/em>.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s confusing – and worse, he\u2019ll eventually see through this stilted act<\/strong>. This, of course, is a huge turn-off.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no problem showing interest in a guy. And there\u2019s no need in this day and age to play silly mind games.<\/p>\n

Instead, you can play a different kind of game \u2013 one built on authenticity<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Give your guy hints that you like him, and be enthusiastic when you\u2019re together. Experts find that a person starts falling in love with someone once they knew they wanted them.<\/p>\n

As for the \u201cplaying hard to get\u201d part, that means actually being busy. That\u2019s not the empty kind of busy where you\u2019re at home, scrolling down endlessly on your social media feed.<\/p>\n

He found that people who were hard to get gave the impression that they\u2019re a scarce resource<\/strong>. However, they ALSO had to be enthusiastic about the other person to be attractive.<\/p>\n

That way, it puts them in a more balanced and attractive light.<\/p>\n

#2: Rock His World<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In a nutshell, you need to generate strong emotions within your guy when he\u2019s with you. He\u2019ll then associate those feelings with you, which naturally creates that spark.<\/p>\n

In an MIT study, behavioral researchers found that people have a habit of transferring their feelings<\/strong> from one setting to the next.<\/p>\n

What does this mean?<\/p>\n

For instance, if you nearly hit another car while driving to work, you\u2019d carry those negative vibes into the office. That previous, unrelated experience would bleed into the rest of your day.<\/p>\n

Some call this \u201cemotional misattribution\u201d<\/strong> or \u201cemotional leakage\u201d – this is the human tendency to attach strong feelings to the nearest person, even if they had little to do with it.<\/p>\n

Also, it has to do with the fact that being physically aroused can easily translate into a sexual attraction.<\/p>\n

So, if you can find a way to keep things exciting for him \u2013 like doing sports or something physically intensive \u2013 then he\u2019ll latch those feelings onto you.<\/p>\n

Admittedly, a lot of women I talked to reacted to this piece of advice with a raised eyebrow.<\/p>\n

First of all, you don\u2019t need to be rolling on the floor with tears in your eyes if his jokes bombed.<\/p>\n

But if your funny bone really is tingling from his witty one-liners, then go ahead and laugh.<\/p>\n

But research done at Westfield State College, the University of Western Ontario, and McMaster University reveals the flip side<\/strong> to this well-known fact. They stated that\u00a0“men preferred those who were receptive to their own humor, particularly for sexual relationships.\u201d<\/p>\n

It seems that it\u2019s not so much about treating a guy\u2019s ego with kid gloves\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026but more to do with a man\u2019s desire to be appreciated by his partner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Trust me, I know plenty of guys who have appreciation as one of their \u201cmust haves\u201d in a relationship. So, appreciating his sense of humor is a good step in that direction.<\/p>\n

But there\u2019s another angle to it. You see, the human brain has a habit of categorizing individual elements<\/strong> (like shapes, objects and people) into a general group.<\/p>\n

This is a hardwired survival trait to prevent someone from visually focusing too much on one thing. To avoid sensory overload<\/strong>, the human eye is trained to recognize the whole picture.<\/p>\n

And this instinct spills over into a person\u2019s social life<\/strong> as well.<\/p>\n

So in a practical sense, you can set your social media (and online dating) profile picture to a photo featuring you with a group of friends. Just make sure it\u2019s clear who you are in the picture so you don\u2019t get lost in the sea of faces!<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re looking to a meet a guy in a bar or a party, make sure to bring your squad along too. Social proofing is a real phenomenon, so use it to your advantage.<\/p>\n

#5: Appeal to His Sensual Side<\/strong><\/h3>\n

There\u2019s really no surprise here. Any guy who\u2019s interested in women will obviously want physical intimacy<\/strong> in the relationship.<\/p>\n

But you\u2019d be surprised \u2013 and even downright concerned \u2013 how many women are lacking<\/em> this department.<\/p>\n
